The Spierer’s are even closer to knowing if a skull found in a river in Indiana belongs to their daughter Lauren, a rising junior at Indiana University who went missing last June after a night of partying. On July 8, a human skull was found in a river in Indiana. It was supposed to take 8 weeks, which Spierer said would be “80,640 minutes of agony” in an open letter on her blog today. The coroner’s office will compare a tooth from the skull to Lauren’s records they have on file, thereby expediting the process.
